• Intervention
For the patient with heart failure, does supplementing with thiamine provide beneficial outcomes?
    • Conclusion

Two small randomized controlled trials suggest that patients with heart failure may improve thiamine status with high-dose supplementation. However, only one study reported a benefit in clinical symptoms (LVEF increased and mean NYHA class decreased).
