RCTs of 2-weeks follow-up duration; comparing vegetarian (vegan to lacto-ovo-vegetarian) to non-vegetarian diets on systolic and diastolic blood pressure (primary or secondary outcome); published in English or have English translation

Studies excluded if no vegetarian intervention, no nonvegetarian control or no suitable outcome data
Research Purpose:
To conduct a meta-analysis of studies with trial sequential analysis (TSA) methods to elucidate the associations between vegetarian diets and blood pressure lowering from estimation of the effect size regarding the benefits of vegetarian diet consumption compared with omnivorous diets by looking at whether adequate sample power size of the randomized controlled trials have been achieved and whether the conclusions are valid or not.
