Inclusion Criteria:
Hypertensive patients.
Exclusion Criteria:
Patients with diabetes, chronic renal diseases and cancer, as well as pregnant women, were excluded from the study.
Research Purpose:
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the impact of a Brazilian dietary approach to hypertension on BP levels and urinary Na and K excretion in hypertensive patients who were being monitored by primary health care providers in a poor region of Brazil.
