Inclusion Criteria:
Computer and e-mail access, no significant weight change in the last 3 months, not currently participating in any self-directed or commercial nutrition, physical activity, or weight loss program, and no major health problems. Eligibility included blood pressure <140/90 mmHg and body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 35 kg/m2.

Research Purpose:
To develop and evaluate a weight management intervention using a calorie goal setting and self-monitoring software program, monthly face-to-face visits, and technology-assisted counseling (e.g., e-mail and telephone) with and without an enhanced behavioral component.
