Inclusion Criteria:
BMI between 29-34 kg/m2, age between 18-65 years old, have an email address, have a personal computer, tablet or mobile phone.
Exclusion Criteria:
Individuals suffering from a known physical and/or psychological disease or comorbidity, intake of any medication with possible impact on body weight, endurance capacity, currently treated for diabetes, sleep apnea determined during the last year, a history of systematic strength or endurance training in the year before the beginning of the trial, a history of following supervised dietary advice in the year before the beginning of the trial, having a history of bariatric surgery or any other malabsorption-related disease, and pregnancy.
Research Purpose:
The purpose of the study was to compare the effectiveness of three weight loss programs (conventional face-to-face, mobile weight loss app and a partial face-to-face and app combined program) with no intervention among adults with obesity.
