Inclusion Criteria:
Participants were included if they were long-stay, free of a feeding tube, not receiving hospice care, and have an existing physician or dietitian order for nutrition supplementation.
Exclusion Criteria:
Not meeting inclusion criteria.
Research Purpose:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of oral liquid nutrition supplementation and a between-meal snack intervention for improving caloric intake in long-stay nursing home residents with an existing order for supplementation.
Blinding efforts:
Blinding for group assignment and assessors/raters.
