Inclusion Criteria:
Nursing home residents >/= 65 years of age, BMI /= 1 month of residency, able to self-feed or receive oral-feeding, non-bed-ridden, and cognitively able to answer the questionnaire.
Exclusion Criteria:
Those who had acute infection/diseases or stayed in hospitals during the recruitment phase were excluded.
Research Purpose:
The objective of the study was to determine the effectiveness of a flexible and need-based intervention strategy for improving the nutritional status of undernourished older persons in nursing home settings.
