Inclusion Criteria:
Participants were 65-year-old residents of a nursing home, they were included if they had stayed in this nursing home for >1 month, showed BMI 25 kg/m2, and were able to self-feed or receive oral-feeding, non-bed-ridden, and cognitively able to answer the questionnaire.
Exclusion Criteria:
Those who were hospitalized, or had acute infection, renal disease, or liver failure were excluded.
Research Purpose:
The study aims to determine whether the need-based nutritional intervention was effective in improving their physical functioning.
