In patients with celiac disease, what are the effects of oats, compared to a control, on anthropometrics?
- Conclusion
  In healthy patients with celiac disease, there was no significant improvement in body mass index (BMI) among participants who consumed oats as a part of a gluten-free diet when compared to a control group. (Grade III or Very Low)

However, in a separate study, there was no difference in the self-reported adherence to a gluten-free diet among healthy adults who reported consuming oats as a part of a gluten-free diet in comparison to healthy adults who reported eliminating oats from their diet.
