Inclusion Criteria:
GP referrals for adult patients currently being treated for depression and anxiety.
Exclusion Criteria:
Patients under 18 years of age and those with contraindications to participation in physical activity were excluded from the study
Research Purpose:
The aim of this randomized controlled trial was to determine whether an individually tailored lifestyle intervention (focused on diet and physical activity) delivered in a primary care setting could decrease depression and anxiety symptoms of patients being treated for depression and/or anxiety compared to an intervention control.
