In VLBW preterm infants (less than or equal to 1,500g at birth), what is the association between human milk (mothers' and donor) dose response and weight gain?
- Conclusion
  In very low birth weight (VLBW) preterm infants, one retrospective cohort study described that higher proportions of intake from fortified human milk, from a combination of mother's own milk (MOM) and donor milk, resulted in greater decreases in weight z-score from birth to discharge.
