Inclusion Criteria:
According to the Japanese criteria, subjects with a body mass index (BMI) >/=25 kg/m2 or waist circumference >/= 90 cm were classified as obese.
Exclusion Criteria:
Modified their diet under physicians’ or dietitians' guidance, or were using proton pump inhibitors and antibiotics.
Research Purpose:
To examine the effects of a nutritional education intervention focusing on gut microbiota composition on obesity and psychological factors among obese women.
