Inclusion Criteria:
Adult chronic renal failure (CRF) patients under hemodialysis treatment at least 3 times a week
Exclusion Criteria:
Lactating or pregnant women; HIV positive or cancer patients; patients with clinically detectable edema, serious obesity (BMI over 35 kg/m2), physical amputation, or alcoholism; renal transplant patients; patients using any medication that influences BC and renal function
Research Purpose:
The purpose of the present work was to evaluate the performance of SKF and BIA to assess FM in CRF patients before HD (BHD) and after HD (AHD), using air displacement plethysmography (ADP) as the standard method to estimate FM in HD patients.
