- Conclusion
  In adults with overweight or obesity but without Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, the effect of weight management interventions provided by a dietitian on fasting blood glucose was not significant overall, but results varied according to delivery methods. Weight management interventions that included in-person contacts, delivered to both individual and group contacts, met, on average, a mean of weekly, and were at least a year in duration had a significant effect on reducing fasting blood glucose in sub-group analyses.
